SHAVE

Shave BEFORE your spray tan not after, as it will remove your tan. Avoid anything DOVE. It leaves a residue on the skin and the spray tan won't penetrate as well. 

EXFOLIATE

Gently exfoliate entire body. Use a mit. Stay away from scrubs because most of them contain oil. You want to avoid any oils and lotion on the skin.

WEAR BLACK

Come in black loose clothes. Example: Sweats and tee-shirt. Skip Bra if you can. NO LEGGINGS. Also don't forget flip flops to wear out.

CLEAN SKIN

Arrive to your spray tan with nothing on your skin. Skin needs to be free of lotions, deodorant, oils, and jewelry. Failure to do so can result in an uneven tan.

The biggest things for "Tan Safe" body wash are Sulfate-free, light on fragrance, non-exfoliating and HYDRATING.
